There’s nothing better than live music on the Peoria riverfront, so grab some friends and check out the Summer Concert Series at the CEFCU Center Stage! There will be food and drinks available and admission is $7

Sixteen Candles – Established in 2003. 16 Candles makes it their personal duty and pleasure to bring all the great 80’s songs you love to life in full force. Their attention to detail and commitment to entertainment captivates audiences and inspires new ways of dancing and thinking (not to mention drinking). The members are 5 fun-loving guys with a simple love for the music of years gone by and a mission to fuse nostalgia and style to create a sight/sound spectacular unlike any other.

Red Rebel County– What began as an excuse for a handful of South Side musicians to get together and play some fun Irish music that defined their musical upbringing, has quickly turned into a nine person ‘tour de force’ that is taking the Midwestern music scene by storm! Since the band’s inception in 2009 Red Rebel County has sold out countless shows, been invited to play in front of thousands for various high profile Chicago Police/Fire Department benefits, and packed venues around the Midwest. Their legion of rabid fans continues to grow rapidly with every show.

River City Jazz Festival – You won’t want to miss the second annual River City Jazz Festival! Taking place on the CEFCU Center Stage, the Jazz Festival will feature six of Illinois’ best jazz groups playing all day. Bring your friends down to the RiverFront for a beautiful summer day and the smooth jazz tunes!

Wedding Banned – Wedding Banned is a cover band formed in Gas City Indiana. After being dubbed, “too wild and crazy,” by their hometown, the Banned hit the road looking for gigs. Their first break came when they landed a Thursday night gig at The Cubby Bear in Chicago, Il. Word spread and that performance turned into a seven month long run. Their show stresses audience interaction and crowd involvement. Wedding Banned marries a couple at every show, on stage! If you like to sing, dance, smile and laugh, come to a Wedding Banned show.

The Boat Drunks – From Champaign, Illinois and now entering their sixteenth year as a group, The Boat Drunks have opened for Jimmy Buffett, The Beach Boys and Little Feat, and have performed from coast to coast with nearly every member of Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band. Their set includes many of your favorite Buffett hits, original music from their four studio albums and other covers from The Beatles, The Eagles, Champaign’s own REO Speedwagon and many more.

Heartache Tonight (Eagles Tribute Band) – With meticulous attention to detail, Heartache Tonight brings together music from all eras of this huge rock powerhouse that produced hits over 4 decades. There are no pre-recorded backing tracks in this show; all vocal harmonies and guitar parts are faithful to the originals and performed live. This is a real concert experience featuring all the timeless classic songs from one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

JammSammich – Long one of central Illinois favorite party bands, JammSammich brings the party to the riverfront once again. A Sammich show is equal parts wedding reception, basement party (with your parents out of town), class reunion and simply a rockin good time!
