Springdale Cemetery & Mausolueum

Springdale Cemetery & Mausoleum

Springdale Cemetery was originally designed both as a cemetery and a memorial park.  Today, as always, people picnic, jog, hike and bike on the many roads and trails winding through Springdale’s hills and valleys.  They enjoy the bluffs with scenic vistas, forested pathways, flower-covered hillsides, prairie grasslands and majestic river views.

Springdale Cemetery is where families come to remember and honor loved ones in a peaceful place with great beauty and rich history.  This 239-acre cemetery, founded in 1854 as the final resting place for loved ones of almost 80,000 area families.  There is a great expanse of available space.  You can find the help needed to help keep your family from additional stress and complete your estate planning by taking care of your funeral arrangements in advance.

All of the property is publicly owned and publicly accessible.  You are encouraged to experience Springdale Cemetery. Participate in a scheduled or self-guided tour.  Hikers and bike riders are a natural fit with respectful visits to honor and celebrate life.  Visit the website, or call the office (309)681-1400.
