PEORIA, Ill. – A second person has died following an accident a week ago in Morton.
That’s according to Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood, who says Harold Mitchell of Pekin, 84, died Saturday evening at a Peoria hospital.
An autopsy indicated like his 82-year-old wife Patricia who died at the scene, Harold Mitchell died of severe and multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The two-vehicle accident happened a week ago Tuesday near Harding and Washington Roads in rural Morton.
Still no word on if any tickets were issued.
