PEORIA, Ill. – A second person has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting and crash last month in South Peoria.
Peoria Police says 18-year-old Dorrean Ellis was interviewed on Monday at a local hospital, then arrested and charged with First Degree Murder and other weapons charges.
Ellis is charged in connection to the shooting death of 26-year-old Malik Pickett and the death of 52-year-old Gray Traylor in the early morning hours of August 22nd.
Pickett was reportedly shot at the Vibes nightclub, while Traylor died after allegedly being struck by the vehicle involved in the shooting.
20-year-old Karon Hopkins was charged with First Degree Murder last week in the case.
