PEORIA COUNTY, Ill. – A Chillicothe woman has been identified as the victim in Monday morning’s fatal crash near Rome.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood says 35-year-old Samantha Hobbick suffered multiple blunt force trauma injuries as a result of the crash.
He says the two-vehicle crash occurred at Illinois Route 29 and Marquette Street at around 7:15 A.M.
Hobbick was pronounced dead at OSF Saint Francis just before 11:15 A.M.
