PEORIA, Ill. – Multiple injuries were reported after a tree fell on a vehicle in Peoria’s East Bluff on Wednesday.
A Peoria Police spokesperson says the incident happened just before noon near Wisconsin and Arcadia.
Four people were taken to a local hospital, with no word at this time on their condition.
The area was closed for clean-up, and reopened an hour and a half later.
Public Works Director Nick McMillion stated the tree was on private property, and was not a city-owned tree.
