PEORIA, Ill. – The Harlem Globetrotters are bringing their newest tour to Peoria this winter.
The Harlem Globetrotters: Rivalry Tour will stop at the Peoria Civic Center Arena on Monday, Dec. 28. The tour features a new lineup of opponents and challenges, along with more opportunities for fans to take part in the show.
The tour comes during the Globetrotters’ 100th anniversary year. The team traces its history to 1926 and has since performed in more than 120 countries and territories around the world.
This year’s show will include a free pregame tip-off party for ticket holders, with some fans getting the opportunity to join the Globetrotters on the court. Additional premium experiences will also offer fans pregame court access and the opportunity to sit on the Globetrotters or Rivals bench during the game.
A local ticket presale begins Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 10 a.m., with tickets going on sale to the general public Friday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster and at the Peoria Civic Center’s Toyota Box Office.
