PEORIA (25News Now) – A party took over Peoria’s Warehouse District for the second annual Blocktoberfest on Adams Street, between Oak and Elm
Around 20 vendors participated, offering food trucks and shopping. There was also live entertainment.
“The event really is just to bring awareness to the district to see how much it’s changed down here, the revival of the warehouse district, but to bring the community together, show that it’s a safe place and for everybody to come out and just have a good time,” said organizer Samantha Fisher.
Organizers hope Blocktoberfest, with its local food and live music, showcases continued growth and development of the area.
