PEORIA, Ill. – Democrats Rachael Parker and Randy Stevens have won two major Peoria County races in Tuesday’s general election.
Parker defeated Republican Kari Gabbert in the race for Peoria County Clerk and Recorder.
According to unofficial election results, Parker received 33,397 votes, compared to Gabbert’s 25,056.
In the race for Peoria County Treasurer, Stevens defeated Republican Branden Martin, receiving 32,478 votes to Martin’s 25,638.
Both Democratic candidates received approximately 57 percent of the vote.
