A Man Wakes up from 6 Week Coma and Wants Christmas

In Mid-December 24 year old Ryan Caine from San Diego went to the E.R. with what he thought was pneumonia. It ended up turning septic and he almost died. In order to save him, docs placed him in a medically-induced coma for 6 1/2 weeks. Docs weren’t sure if he’d ever wake up, but he did, and got to go home last Wednesday. One of the first things he said when he woke up was, “Did I miss Christmas?”, because it’s his favorite holiday. He lives on a street known as Christmas Card Lane because the whole neighborhood goes all out for Christmas with their decorations. He was sad when he found out he missed Christmas, but when they turned on his street he saw all his neighbors put back up their decorations, and his tree and his decorations were still up, so Ryan got to celebrate Christmas in February.
