Peoria Flag And Decorating / Stars and Stitches Boutique
Why do I choose Peoria Flag and Decorating/ Stars and Stiches Boutique in Peoria Heights? I love the fact that they are locally family owned and operated. Plus, I LOVE the staff's creativity and passion for our community. The store is a fabulous place to pick out decorations for parties of course, but also for the home indoors and out. IN ADDITION to finding gifts for weddings, baby showers and ourselves that can all be customized via embroidery or vinyl. I had a hat for our baby (due in February) made there!
Why do I choose Medi Weightloss in Peoria? With the help of Medi, I lost over 70 pounds. Working on losing weight can be hard. It's easy to get and feel defeated. Am I eating the right thing? Can I still have this? But seriously, Medi makes it EASY. You meet with them one-on-one each week and you too can see the pounds just dropped off. The program and staff are just amazing. Not only do I feel healthier, I've also become great friends with the Medi Weightloss Staff.
Fort's Toyota Of Pekin
Why do I choose Fort's Toyota In Pekin? A couple years ago, I was in need of a new car. I knew which style I wanted and found it at Fort's. From there, not only did I find out it was cheaper than any where else around....the experience was top-notch. I took my younger niece and nephew with and they made us all feel at ease. It was just such a nice experience. No stress what-so-ever. Just loved it!
Frantz Pest Control
Why do I choose Frantz Pest Control In Pekin? After 2 years of my husband, yelling, cussing, and trying to chase away wasps...we (ok I) decided enough was enough. A friend referred us to Frantz because they "are good people and a locally owned business". Called them up. T.J. came out the next day. Haven't had a wasp...or spider, cricket, ant, or any bug SINCE. Our house is now a stress-free, bug-free heaven!!!
As a native of Central Illinois, CJ always wanted to be a part of radio in Peoria. Her interest began at very early age while listening to “Gary & Donna on KZ93”. CJ studied Radio & Television Broadcasting at Illinois Central College and truly enjoyed the experience.
She was fortunate to start work while still in school at WMBD-TV as a Floor Director for the show “The Morning Mix”. From there CJ moved to WMBD-AM, where she grew her love for radio and spent over a decade producing shows on the talk radio format. But then, it was time to shine. After a fun run on a Classic Country station, it was onto Mix 106.9. You can hear her on the air Monday through Friday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturdays from 6:00am to 12:00pm.
CJ resides in Peoria with her husband, daughter, and two over-friendly puppies.
