HANNA CITY, Ill. — A Hanna City woman with special needs is missing, and police are asking for the public’s help to find her.
The Peoria County Sheriff’s Office turned to social media Friday, looking for leads that might help authorities find 20-year-old Rydia Alexis Church, who was last seen leaving her home on Lamplighter Lane in Hanna City and getting into an unknown vehicle last weekend.
News partner 25 News reports that Church may also have been near U.S. Highway 6 in Peru.
Authorities say Church does not have money, a cell phone or any form of transportation. They say she’s a special needs adult and may have slurred speech.
Church is approximately 5 feet, 7, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and wears prescription glasses.
Anyone with information about Church’s whereabouts is asked to call the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office at (309) 672-6011 or Detective Dave Zook at (309) 657-7682.
