PEORIA, Ill. – The COVID-19 pandemic has claimed another annual event in Peoria for good.
The Peoria Jaycees say they have officially discontinued their International Beer Festival.
The last time it was held in 2019, it was in its 27th year.
The Jaycees say on social media they have enjoyed planning and putting on the event, but the pandemic has left “many challenges” for their chapter.
The International Beer Festival had been held in April every year.
