PEORIA, Ill. – Ameren says customers still in the dark after Monday night’s storms should be back online by Thursday night.
The utility says some customers should be back online Wednesday, with the rest back by 6:00 P.M. Thursday.
Severe storms that included strong winds and brief tornadoes knocked out power to thousands of customers across the state Monday.
As of 10 A.M. Thursday, Tazewell County had 170 outages, with a majority of those in East Peoria and Morton.
Peoria County has 52 outages and Woodford County 140.
Marshall County is reporting 608 outages, with a majority of those in Lacon.
