PEORIA, ill. – A motorcycle crash resulted in the driver being transported to a local hospital.
State Police tell 25 News the accident happened around 12:20 p.m. Saturday when the motorcycle left the roadway and crashed into a embankment on the ramp leading from westbound I-74 to University Street.
Troopers say the motorcycle’s power unexpectedly shut off and the driver lost control.
The severity of the driver’s injuries were not known.
