PEORIA, Ill. – The 38th Greater Peoria Honor Flight takes off from the Peoria International Airport Tuesday morning, with 72 Central Illinois veterans and their guardians on board.
The veterans will spend the day in Washington, D.C. seeing the sights and visiting the War Memorials.
The community is encouraged to welcome the first Greater Peoria Honor Flight of 2026 home Tuesday night. The flight is expected to arrive back in Peoria around 9:30 p.m.
Shuttle service will be available from the CEFCU parking lot near PIA starting at 8 p.m.
