PEORIA, Ill. – A teenager is facing charges in a shooting that left two children injured over the weekend. 

Peoria Police say shots were fired Saturday night in the three-thousand-block of North Wisconsin Avenue. 

A three-year-old and ten-year-old were found at the scene with gunshot wounds to their legs. Both were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Officers say 18-year-old Marquise Paule was arrested after fleeing the scene on foot. He’s facing several charges, including aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.   

Police are investigating and are still looking for other individuals involved in the incident.
