PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley University will honor alumnus and Luster Products President and CEO Jory Luster Sr. as its 2026 Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year.

Luster, a 1975 Bradley graduate, will receive the award during an event at the university on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

He will also be the featured speaker in Bradley’s Distinguished Entrepreneur Speaker Series, discussing innovation, leadership and his experience growing a family-owned business.

Luster has led Luster Products since 1991 after previously serving as the company’s vice president and overseeing sales and marketing.

Bradley says Luster helped expand the company’s retail and professional divisions and established an international division with operations across Europe, Africa and the Caribbean.

Luster Products has been in business for nearly seven decades and is one of the nation’s longstanding African American-owned businesses.

The event runs from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Hayden-Clark Peplow Pavilion on Bradley’s campus.

It is free and open to students, alumni and members of the community, but registration is requested.
