PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley men’s and women’s basketball recently released their non-conference schedules for the 2024-25 season.
The schedules are highlighted by trips to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the men and Deland, Florida for the women.
The Bradley men will take part in the Myrtle Beach Invitational Dec. 21-14. The eight-team Multi-Team Event (MTE) guarantees each team three games.
The other schools in the field include: Middle Tennessee, Ohio, Portland, Princeton, South Florida, Texas State, and Wright State. Three of the teams qualified for postseason play last year, including Bradley, Princeton and South Florida who all played in the NIT.
Bradley’s first game in the Myrtle Beach Invitational will be vs. Texas State at 4:30 p.m. Central time Dec. 21.

The men’s non-conference schedule is also highlighted by home games vs. SEMO, Northern Illinois and Santa Clara. Road games include Washington State and a game vs. Santa Clara in Henderson, Nevada.
The men will play an exhibition game at Carver Arena Oct. 30 vs. Millikin.

This will be the 50th season for Bradley Women’s Basketball and the third season at the helm for Bradley women’s basketball Coach Kate Popovec-Goss. The women will officially open their season Nov. 7 at Renaissance Coliseum vs. St. Francis (IL).
The Bradley women will travel to Florida as part of the Hatter’s Classic at Stenson University in Deland, FL.
The women will play host Stetson Dec. 19 and Bethune-Cookman Dec. 20.
The Braves have split their only two games ever vs. Stetson, the last meeting being a neutral site matchup in November, 2011. The Braves’ game vs. Bethune-Cookman will be a rematch of a 64-57 loss to the Wildcats last year during an MTE at Georgia State. It was the first meeting ever between the two schools.
The Bradley women’s non-conference schedule is also highlighted by road games at Illinois Dec. 12 and Northwestern Dec. 15.
It will be Bradley’s first game vs. the Illini since November, 2017 and the 16th meeting all-time. The Braves also visited Northwestern last season. Northwestern holds a 3-2 edge over the Braves in the series matchup.
Bradley’s annual Field Trip Day at Renaissance Coliseum will be Nov. 21 at 11 a.m. vs. UI Indy.
The women’s exhibition matchup will be vs. Knox College at Renaissance Coliseum Nov. 2.

The Missouri Valley Conference has yet to released the conference schedules for men’s and women’s basketball.
