8:38 AM. Woke up with a terrible headache and the kids arguing with each other. Go to get to the bottom of it. They were arguing about a puzzle. A puzzle. The girls wanted to do one and the boy wanted to do a diff one. Child #4 (the boy) says
“Clearly your blind because you cant seem to listen to anything” and walks away. So there!! That was a great ending to a stupid argument.
9:15 AM. It is going to be a long day. Still not feeling good. Trying to get some e-learning done, my work and Kim needs to her work done. How do people do this? Real talk…. how do we become teachers for our kids, do our jobs, and do all our normal.stuff like cook, clean, etc. I tried to find that superwoman outfit in my closet and it doesn’t seem to be there.
1:18 PM to 3:25 PM. While I napped away my not feeling well the kids went to play in the woods.
3:27 PM. Child #3 runs into the house yelling that Child #1 is stuck on a log by the creek. Stuck on a log by the creek??? So, of course I send Kim down to check out the situation. 15 min go by….. 30 min go by. I text Kim to see what the situation is…. Apparently Child #1 is NOT stuck, just wont move from the middle of the log that goes over the creek. And by creek I mean stream. And by stream I mean trickle. She was afraid she was going to fall in the water. And by water I mean an inch of water.
5:02 PM. Took over an hour to coax Child #1 off the log. OVER AN HOUR.
5:12 PM. Currently cleaning up 25 pounds of mud from my backdoor to the bathroom.
5:37 PM. All the kids worked up quite the appetite from the “log incident”. Made a hefty dinner.
6:28 PM. Decided on a family movie. Let them stay up a little longer tonight. Put on the “Peanut Butter Falcon”. We are 376 questions in and only 20 min into the movie. I’ve decided my kids are sheltered. I think thats a good thing 🙂
6:57 PM. What do you mean your hungry and want a snack?!?!
Good night
