A man, name was not provided, said he heard noises coming from behind his home in Nokomis, FL and when he went out back, he found his chocolate lab in the canal…with a gator chomping on it! The man sprung into action and jumped in the canal, pried open the gator’s mouth, and released his dog. Both the dog and man were injured, but survived. A trapper came out and was able to capture the gator, which was 9 feet long. For more on the story click HERE
