PEORIA, Ill. – There’s a new leader of elections in Peoria County.
Jessily Joseph was appointed Executive Director of the Peoria County Board of Election Commissioners at a special meeting on Thursday.
She takes over for the outgoing director, Elizabeth Gannon, who left the role on May 8th.
Joseph joined the Election Commission in October of 20-22 as Assistant Executive Director, and has overseen vote-by-mail processing, election judge training, and the Commission’s finances.
