9:49 AM. In the kitchen cleaning up after breakfast and hear Child #2 and child #4 having a weird conversation in a weird voice! Go in and ask them why they are talking like that. Child #2, in a semi-decent for a 9 year accent says “we are speaking British”. Child #4, in what sounds like a cross between a speech impediment and a Chinese/British/Russian/Swedish accent “we decided to learn another language”.
11:18 AM. Child #4 is addicted to knowing who is the biggest and best at everything. Today it was off the charts! Child #4 “Alexa, who is the biggest fast food chain in the world…” “Mom, can we eat at McDonalds”. “Alexa, how many Bob Evans are in the world…” “mom, can we have bob evans for dinner”. “Alexa, who has the most point in the NBA”… “Alexa, whos the tallest person in the world”… “Alexa”… “ALEXA”…. !?!?!?!? OMG….. Alexa is now on lockdown. Is there a medication for being too competitive! Lol!
1:43 PM. Child #3 comes waltzing in the kitchen… “Mom, I can’t find my dollars. I had them out of my purse yesterday and now I can’t find them anywhere”!! Before I can say anything, like, that is why you keep them in your purse, or that is why we don’t play with our money, you know, cool mom one-liners, Child #2 replies “it’s in your bra”! Child #3 “oh yea! Thanks!” What just happened???
3:26 PM. Going to Target to get our pick up order….. seriously, do not know what I would do without it…. Child #4 tags along. He notices Ulta, and asks what kind of store that is and why it’s not open. I tell him its where women get make-up and stuff and right now its not considered necessary. He replies “guess the ladies don’t need to look pretty during the virus. Unless they already have makeup, then they will be ok.” Note to self, teach son not to say EVERYTHING he is thinking.
6:54 PM. Got a bunch of work done, thanks to the good weather. Kids played outside til I made them come in! Tomorrow I update the bathroom!!!
