PEORIA, Ill. – If you receive a postcard from Peoria County regarding jury duty, officials say don’t throw it away—it is legit.
Starting this month, jury summons have switched from being sent out as letters to the new postcard system.
Officials say when the post card arrives follow the instructions provided and make sure you respond by the date listed.
And remember—the court will never call or text you demanding payment, gift cards, or personal information.
