TAZEWELL COUNTY, Ill. (25 News) -Heavy rain is believed to have caused a roof collapse at a store in Pekin.
An alarm company reported about 6 a.m. Saturday, the roof collapsed at Advance Auto Parts at 3335 Court Street.
No one was inside the building at the time.
A company representative said the immediate priority is securing the building and ensuring affected employees have a place to work in the coming days.
Crews are assessing the damage and will make a recommendation on next steps, the representative said.
