PEORIA, Ill. – A nineteen-year-old is fighting for his life after being shot on Peoria’s East Side early Sunday morning.
Peoria Police say a ShotSpotter alert went off on East McClure Avenue around 5:30 a.m., indicating one shot had been fired. That’s where officers found the teen inside a car, badly injured with a gunshot wound.
Police don’t know who pulled the trigger and have not released any suspect information yet.
