9:47 AM. Breakfast is done, cleaned up and we are starting week 2 of e-learning.
10:20 AM. Going well. Reading done. Now onto math. See child #3 drifting in front of the TV….
10:32 AM. Child #3 “Mom, you have knee pain! I paused it so you can call this number. Dr. HO can cure it”. It is official, no infomercials for the kids!
10:34 AM. Get child #3 back on track.
10:49 AM. WHY CAN’T YOU JUST CARRY THE ONE. CARRY THE ONE!!! JUST CARRY THE FLIPPING ONE. Why? I do not understand this process. Our way worked for YEARS!!!! (Kim taps in as she can sense my utter frustration and disgust).
12:21 PM. LUNCHTIME!! This I can do!
12:45 PM. Thank you Walmart. Your substitutions on our carry out order are causing some real issues. Your substitute of Wonder Bread, for your own walmart version has my children asking questions like… “why is this bread so soft”. Your substitute of Jiffy peanut butter for walmart peanut butter just put them over the edge!! “Why is this peanut butter so creamy”? “Yea, it tastes like real peanuts”. From now on I will decline any brand names!!! Now my kids have “expectations”. Thanks again Walmart.
1:32 PM. Girls head out in the woods. Won’t see them for a few hours.
2:10 PM. Someone knocks at the door…. Had a delivery from an amazing friend. Dinner for the family. There are still amazing people in this world, and I am lucky enough to have them surrounding me and my family.
3:30 PM. I GOT TO SHOWER!! Life feels totally different when you are clean! But, I look in the mirror and my hair…. I am starting to look like bozo the clown. This is not good!
3:40ish……. I think I blacked out. Did he say no school until April 30th?!?!?!! He did. He did say April 30th.
I am not sure what happened for the next hour or so…. I think I wandered endlessly around the house until the April 30th sunk in. Nope. Not sinking in.
6:50 PM. Had the amazing dinner my amazing friend dropped off, got kids ready for bed and put on a quick tv show.
7:15 PM. APRIL 30TH!!!!! I am going to look like an Alaskan Bush person! Who votes we stop this e-learning and send them to school for the summer instead!!
