9:23 AM. My glasses are missing. I woke up to an empty bedside table. Maybe I left them downstairs. Nope. The children are convinced that we have a ghost. Child #2 “Mom, we totally have a ghost, I just know it!! I can never find my stuff either.” Me: Probably because I can”t even find the floor in your room either. But yea, it’s a ghost.

10:34 AM. Wild hair….. Kids, were going to play a game. It’s called get all the rocks from the flower beds in the front yard out. You get to use your hands, get dirty and use the wheelbarrow!! Kids…. whooohoooo!!!

10:43 AM. Child #4 “this sucks, I”m gonna ride my bike”.

10:47 AM. Child #1 “I’m tired of doing this.” Me: I’ll get everyone ice cream! Child #1 “I could do this all day”! Child #3 from inside the house “did you say ice cream!?!?!? Let me get my shoes!”

12:22 PM. Decided they worked hard and to patron our local business for lunch and ice cream of course. Drove down and got Twistee Treat. An EP must have!! Thank you to those working in the midst of this so my kids can have their hot dog and ice cream fix.

12:45 PM. Sitting down eating. Child #1 “and Mom” (she always starts her sentences that way) “and Mom, I know there is a ghost because they leave wrappers in my room at night”. Me. Wrappers? Child#1 “yea, like chip wrappers and fruit snacks. Sometimes those little candy ones that you give us for rewards”. Me. Really…. interesting, I’ll have to install some cameras today so we can catch the ghost. Child #1. “I think they will probably stop then.” Me. Well that’s good….. you sneaky little….

2:15 PM. Tired and wrapping up the outside work for the day. Children are hungry for snack #42 for the day.

350 PM. Child #2 “Mom, smell this”, lifting up her arm. O…m….. what have I raised!??!!

4:59 PM. All kids showered and lotioned.

5:35 PM. Carb loading for dinner. Who am I kidding. I am pretty sure I am going to gain 50 pounds from this shut down. I need to social distance myself from the fridge.

6:55 PM. Kids ready for bed. Time for my body to shut down for the night.

Good night!
