Parade – Saturday November 20th:
The Festival of Lights annual Parade of Lights features floats shaped by bright, colorful LED lights, including:
- 70-foot long float of the famous Clydesdale horse team pulling a delivery wagon
- 95-foot-long smoke-spewing Chinese dragon
- Chopper motorcycle
- Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
- The Duck and Ducklings
- 160-foot long Steam Engine Train
Spectators can spread out and socially distance along the approximately two-mile route which is mostly along East Washington Street.
Folepi’s Winter Wonderland:
- 123 Par 3 Lane, East Peoria (in VFW Post 2078 Park off Springfield Road)

- $10 for regular vehicles (cars, trucks and vans)
- $30 for a small bus (mini, party, shuttle, school, RV and limousine)
- Admission is paid at the entrance booth. We accept cash, credit cards and debit cards. We do not sell online admission tickets.
FOLEPI River Trail Classic
- Saturday, November 27, 2021
- 9 a.m. – 4-mile competitive run
- 8:30 a.m. – 2-mile non-competitive walk
- Get the special River Trail Classic running shirt – register by Monday, October 18, 2021
- The 4-mile run occurs on a scenic, mostly downhill, point-to-point course on the East Peoria River Trail of Illinois. Transportation is provided from the Fon du Lac Park District Administration Building, 201 Veterans Drive, East Peoria, to the starting line on Frevent Road from 7:45 – 8:40 a.m. The bus for walkers leaves park district administration building at 8:15 a.m.
- $40 by Monday, October 18 to include a correct size technical running shirt featuring a half zipper, long sleeves with thumb holes and a back zippered pocket. (Shirts can still be ordered after October 18 but sizes will not be guaranteed. Also, a limited amount of shirts will be available on race day.)
- $25 for run or walk only with no shirts
- Register and pay online at getmeregistered.com/FolepiRiverTrailClassic.
- Download the FOLEPI River Trail Classic entry form and mail it, with an entry fee check, to the address at the bottom of the form.
- Pick up an entry form at East Peoria City Hall, Fon du Lac Park District Administration Building, EastSide Centre and Fondulac Banking Center, all in East Peoria, and mail it with the entry fee check to the address at the bottom of the form.
- Take a completed entry form to EastSide Centre, 1 EastSide Drive, to pay with cash, check or credit/debit card.
- Call EastSide Centre at 309-698-5437 to register and pay by phone with credit/debit card.
