PEORIA, Ill. – Three teenage employees of a Peoria Burger King were arrested after an alleged altercation in the business, with one allegedly having a firearm.

Peoria Police says officers responded to the location near University and Forrest Hill on Wednesday just after 6:00 P.M.

Officers learned that the three were told to leave the restaurant, and they complied.

Officers found the trio nearby, but 19-year-old Trayvion Dunigan reportedly was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.  A handgun was allegedly recovered from Dunigan

Dunigan was arrested for Possession of a Firearm in Public, Obstructing/Resisting Police, Unlawful Possession of Firearm Ammunition Without a Valid FOID Card, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm Without a Valid FOID Card, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon.

Police say 18-year-old Kevin King and a 16-year-old male were arrested for Disorderly Conduct.

Dunigan and King were taken to the Peoria County Jail, while the 16-year-old was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
