MORTON, Ill. – The village of Morton has a new labor contract with its police union.
The four-year contract was unanimously approved Monday night’s Board of Trustees meeting.
Officers will receive a 7% increase in the first year, 5% in the second, 3.75% in year three, and 3.5% in year four.
Village Attorney Patrick McGrath says negotiations took place over the past year.
