PEORIA, Ill. – One of the teenagers charged in a carjacking in North Peoria last December has been indicted by a Peoria County grand jury.

15-year-old Jaiden Dillard was indicted on Tuesday on one count of Aggravated Vehicle Hijacking.

The incident occurred in the morning hours of December 6th.

Dillard allegedly attempted to pull a driver out of their vehicle, but then reportedly tried to drive off in the vehicle by sitting on top of the driver and crashing it into a lamppost.

It was part of a larger incident that morning, which started with a stolen-pick up truck that was found near the CEFCU bank on Knoxville.
