HOPEDALE, Ill. – One person was injured after lightning reportedly struck a semi-truck during storms Monday morning in Tazewell County.
Illinois State Police say troopers responded to the area of I-155 and IL Route 122 at around 8:50 A.M.
The semi-truck and an empty trailer were overturned in the median due to the wind, but there was no lane blockage.
