PEORIA, Ill. – One person was taken to a trauma center for non-life-threatening injuries after a rollover crash in Peoria on Thursday afternoon.
Peoria Fire says crews responded to the full-sized truck on its side near Route 6 and Knoxville just before 4:00 P.M.
The male trapped inside was removed in under five minutes with hydraulic cutters and placed on a backboard to stabilize him.
The driver stated he struck a barricade after veering off the road, causing the truck to roll multiple times before resting on its side.
