PEORIA, Ill. -A Peoria man will spend 10 years in prison after being sentenced for methamphetamine distribution.  

In addition to the prison time, Felipe Hernandez will serve 5 years of supervised release. 

Hernandez pleaded guilty back in February 2026 and has been in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service since his arrest. 

Hernandez had prior criminal convictions that included armed robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.
