PEORIA, Ill./ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The suspect accused of causing a fatal hit-and-run crash in Peoria early Thursday morning has been arrested in Saint Louis.

Peoria Police and Illinois State Police say a warrant for 36-year-old Sharmarr Greenlee was issued after he was identified as the driver that allegedly caused the crash near Maryland and McClure.

The crash killed 17-year-old Isis Horn of Peoria.

Greenlee was arrested later in the day Friday by the Woodson Terrace Police Department in Saint Louis.

Police say he is being held in the Saint Louis County Jail awaiting extradition to Peoria.
