PEORIA, Ill. – The man accused of causing a fatal crash in Peoria’s East Bluff last week has been returned to central Illinois.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney and Sheriff’s Offices say 36-year-old Shamarr Greenlee is now in custody in the county after his arrest in St. Louis on Friday.
Greenlee is charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Death for the crash early Thursday morning that caused the death of 17-year-old Isis Horn.
Prosecutors have filed a petition to detain Greenlee, but a date for that hearing has not been set.
