PEORIA, Ill.  (25 News) – Peoria Police said three people were hurt from a rush hour collision Tuesday between a motorcycle and sport utility vehicle in Northwest Peoria.

The accident was reported about 4:45 p.m. at West Charter Oak and North Orange Prairie roads.

A police spokesperson said the motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital, but that person’s condition is not known. Two people in the SUV were also taken to the hospital, but their injuries were not life-threatening, according to police.

No other details are available, and the crash remains under investigation, according to police.
