CHILLICOTHE, Ill. – A four-week long investigation in Chillicothe led to the arrest of two women for the alleged sale of methamphetamine and crack cocaine.
Chillicothe Police executed a search warrant on Wednesday near Wilmot and 4th Streets.
47-year-old Kathryn Ackley and 43-year-old Melissa Dowell were both charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Dowell received additional charges including possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of firearm ammunition, and possession of a stun gun without a valid FOID>
The Stark County Sheriff’s Office assisted with a K-9 unit.
